Lance Myers is the lead for the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm/Kwikwetlem First Nation Stewardship Projects. Guided by the Nation’s vision that the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm people are guardians of their lands and waters, Lance focuses on restoring a sustainable, healthy watershed for the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm. He has worked in riparian habitat restoration and infrastructure offsetting projects, intent on using traditional heritage and knowledge as a guide to protecting the land and resources. He manages the Nation’s Marine Emergency Response program and chairs the Guardian Implementation Committee. He is kʷikʷəƛ̓əm.
